Want to know more about our 6th form charity and fundraising events?

Fundraising for charities is an integral part of the school year. We support a range of good causes, some year on year and others as a result of student nominations which are then discussed and decided by representatives from the school council.

While many of the fundraising events follow the traditional non-uniform route, we also have themed dress up days that are run by our 6th Form Prefect Teams such as Children In Need, Wear It Pink Day for breast cancer, celebrate Valentine’s Day, Save The Children Christmas Jumper day, Samaritans Shoe Box Appeal and cake sales for MacMillan Cancer Research.

Annual events take place between the Sixth Form students and teachers such as football matches, tug of war and “curry and quiz” nights!

We are very proud of our Annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party which has been running for over 40 years. Throughout the year our Prefect team will run events to raise much needed funds to pay for the total cost of this community event. There are traditional carols, bingo and a showcase from our Sixth Form students including comedy acts, singing and games.
